Hong Kong Screw and Fastener Council Introduction The Hong Kong Screw and Fastener Council was founded in 2003 with the objectives to safeguard the interests of the screw and fastener industry in Hong Kong and to strengthen the co-operation within the industry. It is the first industrial council established under the auspices of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA). The screw and fastener industry has been playing a pivotal role in the manufacturing history of Hong Kong. For many years, companies engaged in the industry worked individually to face the ever-changing challenges in the international market. The establishment of the Council represents the concerted efforts of the industry to voice its needs and to work for its best interests.
